Walking the Slime Trail, you may have spotted the newest inhabitants of Queen Street Campbelltown. These multi-coloured slugs hold and communicate local stories from the LGBTQIA+ and ally community of the city.

Story fragments can be seen along the street as well full descriptions on mysluglife.com where we spotlight and celebrate the people who generously shared moments from their lives, whether significant, silly, or both.

Spend some time with your newest slimy companions as they wriggle their way on and around the existing concrete ‘slug’ benches that act as their home.

Thank you to the participants who shared their stories during production and for the strong, lasting traces they left on the project.

This project was produced by Andrew Christie for Wander On Q 2024, and is supported by Campbelltown Art Centre, Campbelltown City, and Transport for NSW
